The Rhythm of Yangtze & Po Rivers · Sino-Italian Lifestyle Festival was held on Thursday in Wuhan,capital city of Hubei Province.

  Shao Xinyu, vice governor of Hubei Province, and Maurizio Rasero, governor of Asti Province and mayor of Asti City of Italy, delivered speeches during the event.Alberto Cirio, President of Piedmont Region, and Liu Kan, Chinese consul general in Milan, spoke in a video message.

  Shao introduced Hubei andPiedmont Region have achieved fruitful results in cooperation such as automobiles, culture and tourism. It is hoped that the two sides will take this event as an opportunity to further create new highlights in economic and trade cooperation, expand new space for educational exchanges and seize new opportunities for cultural and tourism cooperation, so as to boost high-quality development of China-Italy relations.

  Maurizio Rasero said that China and Italy have enjoyed a long history and frequent exchanges, and the remarkable achievements of Hubei Province are impressive. He is full of confidence in promoting all-round cooperation between the two sides and looks forward to creating more fruitful results through joint efforts.

  At the opening ceremony, the Italian fashion and Chinese traditional clothing show, thePiedmont Region intangible cultural heritage  performance were staged. The relevant colleges signed economic and tradeas well as education cooperation agreements. More than 60 enterprises carried out business negotiations.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei)
